BECOME A VOLUNTEER
There are many types of volunteer positions. Currently, we are seeking docents/gallery attendants.
GALLERY DOCENT
The Museum is currently seeking gallery docents.
A gallery docent will interact with guests, take attendance, and answer questions to the best of their ability. A docent guide will be provided.
COLLECTIONS
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Collections volunteers will work on cataloging and re-housing collections based on museum standards and best practices.
RESEARCH
The Museum is always seeking subject-matter experts for researching objects, exhibits, and/or grant opportunities.
PROGRAMMING
The Museum will be looking for volunteers in helping to develop programming and/or events for our upcoming 2021 exhibits and topics.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Office volunteers provide administrative support to the Museum via photocopying, mailings, filing, data entry, etc. Responsibilities vary with specific tasks assigned.
EXHIBITS
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Exhibit volunteers can lend their abilities in mount-making, installation, and painting.
